Northern Michigan Campsite Named the Best in America

Michigan has plenty of fantastic campgrounds, and we’re getting close to camping season. As it turns out, one popular camping area has been named the No. 1 best in America.

Campspot.com has released its 2023 list of the best campgrounds in America. “We’ve looked at all the data and heard from the most knowledgeable campers—you!” they state in the article. “We took all bookings, reviews, and internal data into account to create the shortlist of nominees and then had campers vote to settle the rest!”

Indian River RV Resort in Indian River, Michigan, was named the best campground in Michigan. The area is located in northern Michigan, right off Burt Lake. “With close distance to Michigan’s famous lakes, you can enjoy watersports, fishing, boating, and incredible picturesque views,” the outlet states. “Take a dip in their inground heated pool or enjoy fun activities, including basketball, volleyball, horseshoes, and a ride on the ‘happy camper express.'”
