Guy Fieri to Open More Chicken Guy! Restaurants in Michigan

Chef and TV personality Guy Fieri has joined forces with the Tomey Group to bring his Chicken Guy! restaurant to Michigan. Chicken Guy! will open this Saturday (April 1) in Livonia. When it opens, it will be the chain’s first location in Michigan.

As for events, expect a ribbon cutting at 11 a.m. followed by the doors officially opening to the public. The restaurant will be located at 30130 Plymouth Road in Livonia.

Chicken Guy! will also honor Livonia Fire and Police by offering them a free meal on opening day. Guy Fieri also plans to open 19 more locations in southeast Michigan within a couple years, according to a statement.

“The people of The Motor City have spoken…I’m bringin’ my real deal chicken tenders, sandwiches, and shakes to Livonia. From shooting DDD to taking part in the Woodward Dream Cruise, the Detroit area has always been a go-to for me, so I’m stoked for everyone to give us a try. See ya there!” Guy Fieri said in a statement.
