Ohio Waterpark Named One of the Best in America

SANDUSKY, Ohio – Summer is entering its hottest period, and many Americans are flocking to water parks to cool off. As it turns out, Ohio has one of the best outdoor water parks in the county, according to a new study.
The study was done by 10best.com. “We asked a panel of experts to nominate their favorite outdoor water parks in the country for the ultimate day of sun and fun,” they state in the study. “Then, the top 10 winners were determined by popular vote. Scroll to see the winners for the 10 best outdoor water parks in the United States.”
Cedar Point Shores in Sandusky, Ohio, landed at No. 8 on the list. “Ohio’s legendary Cedar Point opened its all-new sister water park, Cedar Point Shores, in 2017,” they comment. “This 18-acre splash zone took the place of the old Soak City and includes four completely new water attractions, new cabanas and upgrades to the park’s food and retail offerings.” Find the full list here.
