It’s a unique year for the Final Four, as for the first time since 1970, three schools are making their Final Four debut at the men’s NCAA Tournament.

San Diego State University snagged the program’s first-ever Final Four appearance with a 57-56 victory against No. 6 seed Creighton at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky. No. 5 seed Miami defeated No. 2 seeded Texas 88-81 to get the program’s first-ever Final Four.

SDSU will go up against No. 9 seed Florida Atlantic in Houston, Texas on Saturday (April 1), and both are actually first-time Final Four contestants. Later in the evening, the Hurricanes will play against No. 4 seed UConn in Houston, Texas.
