March Madness just wrapped up, but things are already heating up in the offseason. Caleb Love has announced that he plans to transfer to Michigan from North Carolina. This gives the Wolverines and Juwan Howard some new blood for the upcoming season, and boy, do they need it. They didn’t even make the NCAA Tournament this year.

Love, a 6-foot-4 guard, announced his plans on social media Friday (April 7). Michigan picked up another piece of the puzzle, too, in former Seton Hall guard Tray Jackson, who also announced his plans on social media.

Love averaged 16.7 points last season and 14.6 in three seasons as a starter for the Tar Heels. He was one of their big stars. He also scored 28 points in the team’s win over Duke in the Final Four in 2022.

Jackson, a Detroit native, began his college career in 2019 at Missouri. He transferred to Seton Hall and now, he’s coming back to Michigan.

Of course, it’s not all good news. Michigan is losing some talent, too. Center Hunter Dickinson entered the transfer portal, wing Jett Howard is entering the NBA draft and guard Kobe Bufkin is going pro.
