The 2023 NFL Free Agency is in full swing, and the Detroit Lions are shaking things up. Did you expect anything less?

General manager Brad Holmes and head coach Dan Campbell, according to the NFL Network, are signing former Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Cameron Sutton.

The agreement is reportedly worth $33 million over the next three seasons, as well as $22.5 million in guaranteed monies. The pick is a little out-of-the-box, as the Lions were heavily rumored to be looking at bringing Los Angeles Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey to Detroit. But, he was traded to the Miami Dolphins.

The Lions will be making more picks during the Free Agency period. Also, they’ll be front and center during the NFL Draft, which runs from Thursday, April 27, through Saturday, April 29. Since the Lions had a winning a season last year, the team won’t have the top draft picks. But, they’ll still likely make some interesting choices, and Lions fans will be on the edge of their seats.
