Kaepernick and Michigan head football coach Jim Harbaugh have history together, as Kaepernick helped take Harbaugh’s San Francisco 49ers to Super Bowl XLVII.
Michigan announced the news late Wednesday (March 30). The team’s spring game will take place Saturday, April 2, at noon. View Michigan’s official tweet below.
Kaepernick played in 48 games when Harbaugh was coach for the 49ers, from 2011 to 14.
