Yes, it’s been about two decades since Cedar Point has lowered the cost to enter the park. That’s welcomed news for the thousands of locals and tourists who flock there for big thrills.

Going forward this year, the park will charge $80 for gate admission in 2023. That’s down from $85 last year. As Cleveland.com reports, the gate admission was down to $75 in 2021. According to the outlet, the most recent gate price drop took place in 2006, when the ticket price of gate admission went from $44.95 to $39.95.

It’s worth noting that these price changes are only for gate admission tickets. Many visitors to want to go to Cedar Point don’t just walk up and buy tickets. If visitors go through Cedar Point’s official website, they can find tickets for as low as $49.99 for most days, according to Cleveland.com. Also, the Cedar Point Gold Pass season tickets are $140 and come with unlimited admission to the amusement and water parks, parking and in-park discounts.
