The Detroit Lions are the hottest ticket in town, and the team’s game on New Year’s Day at Ford Field was completely sold out. The pumped up fans were a big part of the Detroit Lions towering over the Chicago Bears with a 41-10.

Lions head coach Dan Campbell is super proud of his team, but he’s equally proud of the Detroit Lions’ fanbase. After winning for the seventh time in nine games, Campbell praised the fans at Ford Field for all their support.

“I want to thank our fans,” Campbell said during a post-game press conference. “The fans were outstanding. They’ve been outstanding all year and — this place is loud. It’s just a great, great environment to play in. When you’re a coach or player and you really feel like you have home-field advantage, man that’s a special feeling.”

Campbell added, “I want to thank them again for showing up and being loud. It was awesome.”

The Lions had a fantastic game for their final home stint. The team ended their home slate of games with five wins and four losses, winning the last three games in Ford Field by a combined score of 115-47. That’s impressive and gives fans hopes for a great next season.
